To promote and produce Southern, Country, and Bluegrass Gospel music by:

Presenting the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ through gospel music

Preserving the heritage of traditional Southern gospel music

Enlisting singers – solo, duets, trios, quartets and groups, along with individuals who may not sing or play but who love these types of gospel music and who want to be involved in helpful ways

Providing a platform (through BYKOTA concerts and functions) for each to present their talent and their profession of faith, through Gospel Music by writing and singing God’s wonderful message of love, grace and salvation.

Leroy Lewis and several others began this organization in 1989 believing that we needed an organization that would encourage and promote singers for the Lord.

BYKOTA is not a booking agent for any one group, but promotes everyone in BYKOTA.  All members are encouraged t pray for one another and lift one another up in prayer, always.  We are all in this together with one purpose, that is to uplift and Praise the Lord.

There are no awards given in BYKOTA, as we believe all of us are winners when we are on the Lord's side.  Our rewards will be in heaven and when we we see a soul come to know the Lord.  Our sole purpose is to encourage other gospel singers so they will not become discouraged or down.  For Satan is out there waiting to  knock you down.

Pray for one another today and help one another in any way you can, we are all out for the same goal and purpose.  Promote one another.  This is not one certain denomination, it is for everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ and wants to share that message in song or in support.
